PERSONAL PROJECTS (CAUSE BASED)
Homelessness, the Plight of those on Skid Row, or Modern Day Slavery are just a couple of the major issues in the world today. I am working to make a difference using my talents behind the camera to produce images that might make people pause, think and ultimately, take action.
HOMELESSNESS IN LA
(AKA Hipshot Project)
I walk to and from LA Union Station to Bunker Hill each day (1.44 miles each way). What you see here represents about a month of my walking. I keep my camera at hip level so no to disrupt the natural expressions of my subjects. It is not an ideal way to shoot fro a photographer, blind to the image, but I use half experience and let fate take partial credit for my images/

Despair & Humanity - Real people with extreme life challenges
Capturing images of people at their worst is not an easy task. I was lucky enough to have this opportunity when volunteering for The Midnight Mission in Los Angeles Skid Row.

This is a truly amazing organization that feeds over ONE MILLION meals a year and has a 12 step program to get people back on their feet. All one has to do is walk through the doors and ask for help.
